In this series of recent acrylic paintings, I focused mainly on landscapes and still life paintings inspired from, among others, views of the shores of the Georgian Bay. The crystal clear waters have, over time, sculpted the sediment rock shores, creating an ever-changing landscape of steps and fractures in the rock face. Another level of imposed geometry is added to my work to highlight and to suggest that all of nature follows an underlying order , one of sacred geometry. The impermanence of all things is present in the fragile beauty of a flower but also in the ever-changing rock scenery.
